Update Payment & Contact Details for Contacts

Learn how to find each of your suppliers' contact and payment details and how to update them.

Navigating the contacts page

Your suppliers or payees appear in the Contacts section of the side menu

Select a contact you want to update from the list – you'll be taken to the main contact details view

  1. Select the contact you want to update or edit
  2. You'll be taken to their main Contact page
  3. The page is split into sections – the main company, and company details (open the 'Company details' to see the full information) are at the top (these can't be edited)
  4. If there is more than one trading entity, they'll be listed on the right – select each one to view and/or update its details
  5. The trading entity's contact and payment details are displayed in the main pane of the page
  6. Click in to the main details section to edit the details – don't forget to select 'Save' at the top when you're done

Sometimes when viewing and managing invoices you might see a small orange 'i' icon or pink envelope icon near the contact or supplier's name – these usually mean some elements of the contact's details are missing. Clicking the icon will bring you to this page so you can add any missing information.

Updating bank details

You can update the contact's bank details here too – and we'll do a Confirmation of Payee check as you save to make sure the contact's details match those held by their bank. Follow the instructions on screen to work through the check.
