Signing up to Modulr Accounts Payable as a Delegate (Accountant/Bureau etc).

Allow your clients to take advantage of Modulr's Accounts Payable features by signing up as an Accounts Payable Delegate (Accountant/Bureau etc).

Follow the steps below if you are:

  • An existing Delegate with Modulr on Payroll Payments (the Modulr Portal) and want to use Modulr Accounts Payable aswell.
  • New to Modulr and want to use Modulr Accounts Payable.

Sign up as an Accounts Payable Delegate first

If you already use Modulr Payroll Payments (The Modulr Portal) or are new to Modulr entirely, and want to use Modulr Accounts Payable (AP), follow the steps below.

  1. Book a meeting with our sales team to learn about the service and what setup is the best for your practice. 
  2. We'll set up your Delegate subscription and create your first Delegate user.
  3. You'll receive an email from Modulr Accounts Payable with a link to get you set up in the Accounts Payable portal. 
  4. Once you've set up your AP sign in details and password etc, you'll land in Accounts Payable, and see your practice at the top of the page. 
  5. Follow the steps below to learn how to add your Clients.

Adding your Clients to Modulr Accounts Payable

The steps to add Clients to Accounts Payable are slightly different depending on whether they are already a Modulr Client or completely new to Modulr. See below for detail of both. 

If the Client is already using Modulr Payroll Payments

  1. Email your Account Executive with the details of the existing Client (their business name) you want to add to AP. Alternatively contact Customer Support if you need help. 
  2. Our team will set the Client up with access to Modulr Accounts Payable, and add them to your existing subscription. There's no need for them to complete an application or for us to perform any Customer Due Diligence checks as this will have already have been done when they originally signed up.
  3. The Client will receive an email with a link to get them set up in Accounts Payable.
  4. Next time you sign in to AP with your Delegate credentials, you'll see the new Client in AP and can start managing their Accounts Payable payments.

Your companies – Delegate view-1

If the Client is NEW to Modulr (doesn't already use Modulr Payroll Payments or Modulr Accounts Payable)

1. Go to the Invite Your Client page here.

Enter the basic details and set up the subscription for the package your Client needs. Use the same email address you used when you set up your own Modulr account when asked to set up payment.

2. Once you've submitted the basic details and set up their subscription above, we'll send the Client an email with a link taking them into their Modulr application.

3. The Client needs to complete and submit the application.

4. If you need to check on the status of the application, you can contact Customer Support who will help you with the details.

5. Once our Customer Due Diligence checks are complete, we'll send an email to the client with a link to get them set up in Accounts Payable. If you selected to use both products (Modulr Payroll Payments and Accounts payable) your Client will receive two emails; one to get set up in Payroll Payments, and one to get set up in Accounts Payable).

6. Next time you sign in to AP with your Delegate credentials, you'll see the new Client in AP and can start managing their Accounts Payable payments.
