Payment approvals

Approve single, multiple or batch payments for your business, or for your customers, wherever you are. If you’re a delegate (e.g. an accountant or payroll bureau) managing approvals on behalf of customers, you’ll know how much time gets spent chasing them for approvals. Modulr Mobile App solves this: customers get a push notification when approval is needed, and can respond in seconds – no desktop required.

Add funds

Add funds from your bank, directly in the app. From any account, select ‘Add Funds’, choose the bank you’re paying from, and confirm securely at your bank. Funds transfer straight to your Modulr account, ready for any scheduled or approved payments to go out.

Funding requirements are clearly shown for your accounts and your customers’ accounts, so you always know what’s needed and when.

Modulr Accounts Payable users:

Cards

You can now activate your Modulr virtual payment cards straight from the app and view their secure details. You can freeze and unfreeze each card to stay in control of spending, and check spend limits and current spend at a glance.

Receipts

Upload receipts on the go – straight from your phone’s camera or files – so your spend stays reconciled wherever you are.

For payroll payments, user management, accounts payable invoice approvals, and everything else, continue to use the Modulr AP or Payroll portals on desktop.

Mobile app access

The Modulr Mobile Approvals app is currently available to:

Modulr payroll portal user types:

Direct Customer Users
Users who view and manage only their own accounts under a single Customer.

Delegate Users
Accountancy practice users who can view and manage their customers' accounts.

Partner Users
Partner users who can view and manage customers' accounts

Multi-Customer Users
Users who have access to multiple businesses under the same sign in.

Note: The app is not currently available for customers who use Sage via the Modulr portal

Modulr AP (Accounts Payable) users

Modulr AP users can use the app as a companion to the Company Cards feature – manage cards and upload receipts to card transactions.
